  • Finalize the IETF standard
  • Move email providers to action
  • Push email routing tools that still don’t integrate expiration dates
  • Generate visibility

Projects for the Next 3 Months

  • Finalize feature request for opensource email clients and propose it to each of them (Thunderbird, Zimbra, RoundCube, Gnome Evolution, MailSpring, Kmail…)
  • Publish a standard recommendation on implementing expiration dates in ESPs (API, SMTP, UI)
  • Publish experience feedback (ESPs, Advertisers)
  • Find a 3rd supporter
  • Initiate discussion on legal framework with a legal expert from advertiser side and another from messaging side

Other Development and Improvement Areas

  • Achieve better monitoring and responsiveness in exchanges with various stakeholders
  • Expand beyond France’s borders
